The company has been active for over ten years and consists of 17 employees. The team mainly consists of experienced developers and project managers with extensive experience in complex and technically demanding deliveries.

Causality Agency works long-term with established clients, often in collaborations that span several years. This enables continuity, significant responsibility, and a clear focus on quality over time. The company takes responsibility for the entire lifecycle of digital solutions – from the first delivery to ongoing further development and management.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Fullstack Developer at Causality Agency, you will work in a broad role where you combine practical web development work with close customer contact. You will build modern web solutions and participate in everything from early workshops to delivery and follow-up. The role suits you if you enjoy variety and like to have many different tasks running simultaneously.

The majority of your time will be spent on development work with a clear focus on backend in PHP, where you will build, further develop, and maintain sustainable solutions with a long lifespan. At the same time, you will be involved in the entire delivery – from early discussions and prototypes to delivery and further development. You will work on projects of varying sizes, often in smaller teams together with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers. The role also includes customer contact, where you will participate in meetings with project managers to understand needs, discuss technical choices, propose solutions, and provide realistic estimates.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build and further develop web and digital solutions

• Meet with clients together with project managers to identify requirements, propose solutions, and provide estimates

• Work on varying projects – from smaller features to larger team deliveries

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to operation and performance

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• At least 5 years of experience in web development

• Advanced knowledge of PHP and MySQL as well as experience with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony

• Very good knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks (React or Vue)

• Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol, DNS, SSL, load balancing, CDN, and various caching layers

• Experience with system integrations and designing APIs

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with applied AI, such as using APIs for LLMs or vector databases in web applications

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud solutions

You have a strong interest in technology and are driven to create value for the customer. You are communicative, confident in meetings, and take clear responsibility in your work. The role suits you if you thrive in a varied environment, can handle multiple parallel tracks, and switch between detail focus and a holistic perspective. You appreciate customer dialogue and are comfortable representing the team. If you have previously had elements of technical responsibility or led parts of projects, that is a clear advantage.
